Amazon is hiring forklift operators to join their warehouse team. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for transporting shipments and equipment in warehouse environments, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.

Qualifications:

• Trained and certified on forklift operation
• Able to stand for long periods
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of safety measures required for forklift operation
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Transport shipments and/or equipment in warehouse environments
• Handle shipping orders, customer orders, or requisitions for items to be moved or prepared for distribution
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped
• Load and unload goods from trucks
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Check loads are secure
• Stack empty pallets
• Use RF scanning equipment to track inventory
